Yandex has released the first smart home device supporting the Matter protocol, iPhones.ru reported. This is a three-meter LED strip with adjustable brightness and colors. The second gadget is a smart plug that can be controlled by voice or via an app.
Thanks to Matter support, smart devices can be controlled without the Internet. Data is transmitted through the router’s local network.
To connect the tape and socket to a smart home, you need a Yandex Station 2, Midi, Mini, Light or Yandex Hub speaker. Support for Stations Max, Duo Max and TV Stations will appear later.
An LED strip costs 3,990 rubles, a socket costs 1,790 rubles.
