The Kazakh company Food Solutions KZ, which manages the restaurants of the former McDonald’s, held a thank-you action for its employees. In August, the signs of the establishments were replaced from “Biz Ashykpyz / We are open” with the real names of the employees: “Men Araymyn”, “Men Aruzhanmyn”, “Men Daniyarmyn”, “Men Yuliamyn” and others.
“The names of real employees adorned the facades of the establishments, personifying the people who ensure the operation of one of the largest restaurant chains in the country. Therefore, Food Solutions KZ wanted to express its gratitude and appreciation to its team, which remains committed to the organization and makes a significant contribution to its growth and reputation.
As the press service explains, the company’s policy implies the concept of “People First”. According to CEO Aset Mashanov, the action is designed to draw attention to those who over the years “helped us overcome all difficulties and celebrated victories.”
In total, the network employs more than 1,700 employees throughout Kazakhstan. More than 40% of the head office staff began their careers in the chain’s restaurants.
“The idea was to reveal our most important ingredient: our people, who are always hidden behind the great name of our company. And now we want attention to reach those who really deserve it! This is thanks to our united team with different names, different points of view, different lives, but a united love of food,” explains Mashanov.
The press release also announced plans to launch a new brand, which will be announced in the coming months.
In November 2022, all 24 McDonald’s restaurants in Kazakhstan suspended their work. Bloomberg wrote that the American chain banned its franchisees from buying chop meat in Russia in the context of sanctions. In January, the trademark in Kazakhstan was registered by the Russian company Vkusno, and dot.
