The court found it illegal to write off Wildberries from bank cards removed from the personal account

Cancellations by the Wildberries market of money from bank cards deleted from the user’s personal account are declared illegal. The corresponding decision of the court was reported by the press service of the regional directorate of the department.

Tula Rospotrebnadzor received several complaints from Wildberries users about the charge of money from their bank cards, which were removed from the personal account of the market. The regional administration went to court and acted as a plaintiff in this case.

Although Wildberries’ right to write off money is specified in the rules of use of the marketplace, the court found this to be a violation of consumer protection law and found the conditions unacceptable.
