The problems of Russian companies in finding market makers on the stock exchange are connected with the fact that in Kazakhstan there are not so many trading participants who can maintain liquidity in the required volume, says Alexei Kurasov, head of the corporate finance department. of Finam.

The head of the asset management department of Ingosstrakh Investments, Artem Mayorov, believes that all professional employees in the republic are very small and will not provide the necessary liquidity to the market. The volume of operations on the stock market of the Moscow Stock Exchange in July reached almost 55 billion dollars (about 5 trillion rubles), on the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange – 3.5 billion, and on AIX – only 24.5 million.
