Researchers have described a device called a tongue display, which is shaped like a lollipop and contains 400 tiny electrodes. Each electrode corresponds to a pixel in the video. The screen transfers the image to the language.

Scientists decided to check how this device affects the concentration of human attention. In other words, we wanted to know if the brain could focus tactile attention on the surface of the tongue. It turned out that the language really reacts to the received information in the same way as the visual organs, but despite its incredible sensitivity, attention is still somewhat limited. It is very easy to overstimulate the language, causing sensory overload that makes it difficult to understand what is going on.

Researchers have also found that sounds can affect attention processes in language. For example, if a user hears a sound on the left, the language is easier to identify information on the left side.
