The debts of the Russian “daughter” of Google to creditors exceeded 20 billion rubles. Creditors will file for the bankruptcy of the company and the opening of bankruptcy proceedings against it, while the Google subsidiary filed its own bankruptcy in spring 2022.
The financial obligations of the Russian subsidiary of Google, Google LLC, with its creditors have reached 20 billion rubles. This was reported by TASS with reference to the data obtained from the company’s first meeting of creditors.
Among the creditors of Google LLC are the Federal Tax Service, 2GIS, Izhevsk Radio Plant and several other companies. They are going to go to the Court of Arbitration demanding that the “daughter” of Google be declared bankrupt and open bankruptcy proceedings against her.
In the spring of 2022, Google LLC applied to the courts for bankruptcy. In November 2022 company supervision was introduced: the initial bankruptcy procedure.
Google explained to Forbes that the seizure of the company’s bank accounts in Russia does not allow the office to function, pay employees or pay for the services of contractors and suppliers.
