The Russian perfume chain Golden Apple has signed a lease for a store in Doha, the capital of Qatar. The company will also launch an internship program for employees in the future, Kommersant writes.

Beauty chain “Golden Apple” plans to enter the Qatar market

Qatar is a promising direction in terms of the development of the cosmetics business, according to analysts. The market capacity is small, but the population spends much more on beauty services than in other Arab countries and in Russia.

Other Russian cosmetics players are also exploring expansion opportunities in the Middle East. For example, in 2023 Natura Siberica plans to enter the cosmetic markets of Qatar, Singapore, Israel and Palestine. The company was also negotiating with new partners in Malaysia and Iraq. Earlier it became known about the plans of “Letual” to start work in Dubai.
