Finland is once again accepting visa applications in Saint Petersburg. Documents can be submitted at VFS visa centers from September 1, the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
Petersburg will only accept visa applications. To obtain a residence permit, you will need to apply to the country’s consulate in Moscow.
At the same time, as of September 1, the Consulate General of Finland ceases to function in St. Petersburg, whose consent to the activity was withdrawn by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Finland prevents Russian tourists from entering the country from autumn 2022. In July 2023, the restrictions were extended indefinitely.
