The efficiency of the Novolenskaya TPP at full load will be about 37%. Investments in the construction of thermal power plants will amount to 257 billion rubles. TPP will be Yakutia’s second largest thermal power plant and will contribute to the development of Yakutia’s mineral resource base by supplying energy to the East Test Site.

The TPP, which will include three power units with a capacity of 185 MW each, is scheduled to be commissioned on 1 July 2028. Implementation of the project is expected to create new employment and contribute to increasing the energy reliability of the region.
