This Thursday (2), Dell application augmented reality developed for assist customers during parts replacement and repairs branded devices. HE Dell AR Assistant It came to Brazil as an option for enthusiasts looking to do their own repairs, but the company continues to offer technical assistance at home or by shipping equipment.
As announced by the company, customers will be able to perform “self-service” repairs of low complexity such as battery, memory, storage, among other components. In all cases, use of the augmented reality application is dependent on remote diagnosis by a Dell specialist.
Augmented reality help
Once diagnosed, the necessary parts will be ordered by the company itself, and once the customer has it, the Dell AR Assistant should be used to perform repair assistance – the app is free and available on Android and iOS devices.
“Augmented reality images mix the real image of the customer’s device using the mobile phone’s camera with the 3D arts of the app. Thus, indications of which components need to be replaced and their locations are superimposed on the machine being repaired.”
