IT specialists under the age of 36 will have the opportunity to obtain a preferential mortgage loan without taking into account the minimum wage level requirements, according to a message on the Russian government website.
The decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Previously, the minimum wage requirement was universal. In cities with a million inhabitants, in order to receive a soft loan, IT specialists had to have an income level of at least 120 thousand rubles per month, in other cities and towns – 70 thousand rubles per month.
The minimum salary for specialists working in Moscow was to be at least 150,000 rubles a month.
Preferential mortgages for IT specialists launched in 2022. The rate for such specialists is up to 5% per year. The maximum loan amount for residents of regions of more than one million rubles is 18 million rubles, for the rest – 9 million rubles. Initial payment: from 15%.
The authorities have already changed the conditions of preferential mortgages for you. Thus, in January 2023, Mishustin announced that employees of accredited companies between the ages of 18 and 50 would be entitled to receive it. At the same time, a number of new requirements were introduced, among which was the minimum wage.
