VKontakte has begun testing a tool to flag ads in posts, clips, stories and videos, the social network said in a statement.

When creating a post and story, you can now add the “Author Announcement” tag. The author must select this setting, and in a special service on the VK Mini Apps platform it will be possible to automatically receive a token for dialing.

The id will be displayed natively in posts.

At a first stage, the tool is available to authors on the desktop version of VKontakte in posts and stories, then clips and videos will be added.

You can fill in information about all participants in the advertising chain and add details about the advertising campaign in the ORD VK office interface; the transition to it is built into the applet. Later, the tool will be available on smartphones.

Since September, administrative responsibility for the distribution of advertising on the Internet without a token (a unique code assigned by the operator of advertising data) or violation of the requirements for its placement has been introduced. Natural persons for violations face a fine from 30 to 100 thousand rubles, officials – from 100 to 200 thousand rubles, legal entities – from 200 to 500 thousand rubles.

Earlier, a survey showed that one in ten business owners are unaware of the penalties for failing to tag online advertising.
