The special economic zone called “Titanium Valley”, located in the Sverdlovsk region, was replenished with the capabilities of “Uktus” with a new enterprise – a building of the UZGA – the Ural Civil Aviation Plant – was erected on its territory.

The new site, which occupies about 6500 m² of area, is designed to release promising small and medium-haul aircraft – this is LMS-901, better known as Baikal, and TVRS-44, more often called Ladoga.

By the way, Baikal belongs to the light class and has 9 seats, while Ladoga is larger and can carry up to 44 passengers.

In the near future, UZG will start delivering the necessary equipment to the new territory and installing it. Here it is planned to manufacture both large narrow aircraft and study the complete assembly in aircraft, which implies the creation of over 1,100 jobs.

In addition, a new ITS building has already been put into operation, covering an area of ​​​​about 1,400 m², and a hangar for, as these are very technical and technically maintained floors of aviation equipment with an area of ​​1,900 m². Also, by the end of next year, UZGA will create a multifunctional building for 10,400 m².
