Unlike rivals Nvidia and AMD, Intel was unable to provide a game-ready driver update for Starfield. The game reportedly doesn’t even run on current Arc drivers, making it unplayable on discrete Intel GPUs.

This is surprising given the high expectation for Starfield. Intel is suspected to be working on a driver for the game but it may have been corrupted due to the last minute 15GB Day 1 patch release.

The company has acknowledged these issues and will release a driver update for the full version of the game only, in a few days. Unfortunately, that means Starfield won’t have immediate support during Early Access.
