Fast food restaurant chain Vkusno — i dot plans to open restaurants in the Chinese city of Heihe. To do this, the company needs to obtain permission from McDonald’s.
The owner of the Russian network, Alexander Govor, told TASS that the company received a request from Heihe. According to him, “logistics do not reach these regions, the Chinese do not have McDonald’s there.”
In addition, he added that from other countries they have approached the network about the possibility of opening restaurants “Vkusno, and that’s all.”
- McDonald’s suspended its 850 restaurants in Russia in March 2022. In May, the chain announced that it would finally exit the Russian market. The business was sold to businessman Alexander Govor, who announced a “tough and ambitious” plan to open all of the chain’s restaurants within two months.
- The first fifteen companies of the former McDonald’s restaurant in Russia began operating under the Vkusno — i dotka brand in June 2022.
