Xiaomi Redmi K60 Ultra was recently introduced in China. This smartphone is also called K60 Ultra Extreme Edition. Below you can see the features of the Chinese version of this device. The smartphone comes with a 120W charger and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor. You can also see the features of the Xiaomi 13T T and 13T Pro below.

In the Redmi K60 Ultra’s box you will find a case, 120W charger, USB-C cable, paper clip and documentation. Thanks to such powerful charging, a smartphone with a 5000 mAh battery can be charged up to 100% in 23 minutes (although the manufacturer promised in 19 minutes). It should also be noted that the smartphone has water protection according to the IP68 standard. Sound is better than Xiaomi 12X.

The screen of Redmi K60 Ultra is 6.67 inches diagonal with AMOLED TCL C7 technology. Refresh rate up to 144 Hz, brightness up to 1200 nits (peak 2600 nits), touch up to 480 Hz. The PWM of the smartphone is small, so your eyes do not get tired.

Although it was stated that the screen refresh rate would go up to 144 Hz, the server did not come across a single application or game using this frequency. Later it turned out that the Redmi K60 Ultra runs at 144 Hz in 30 Chinese games. Moreover, at the time of launch, all of them must have a Chinese citizen passport.

As for the cameras, there are four of them. The main one has a resolution of 50 megapixels, ultra wide – 8 megapixels (viewing angle – 119 degrees), macro – 2 megapixels, selfie – 20 megapixels. For some reason the ultra-wide has a much smaller viewing angle than other smartphones (see comparison with the Samsung S23 Ultra), and it also lacks autofocus. It is also strange that the main camera can shoot close objects as well as macro. It is a pity that there is no telephoto between the lenses and the zoom is only digital. But if we compare the Redmi K60 Ultra with budget smartphones and devices in the middle price category, it will have the best camera.

Dynamic range is sometimes very narrow when shooting video, optical stabilization works together with digital. The picture turns out that way, but overall pretty good if you don’t mind the width. You can only switch lenses in 1080p mode, not 4K.

Xiaomi claimed that the Redmi K60 Ultra has an AnTuTu score of 1,774,000. However, in reality, only the refrigerator and freezer have achieved a maximum of 1.5 million points.

Moreover, even when the smartphone was in the refrigerator, it choked and lost 25% of its power. But the phone has no problem of overheating during actual operation.

After 30 minutes on Genshin Impact, the smartphone warmed up from 37 degrees to 43. FPS was also kept at 60fps.

After 1 hour on Honkai Star Rail, the Redmi K60 Ultra had a frame rate of around 40fps but the brightness dropped from 700 nits to 300 nits. Also, 60 Hz mode was activated due to overheating.

Among other disadvantages of the device, the specialist highlighted the fact that it reboots stably once or twice a day. And even without load and without heating.

Despite all the shortcomings, the host of the Mobiltelefon.ru YouTube channel liked to use the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone. This is a good device with water protection, a normal main camera, fast charging, good autonomy, sound, vibration, a screen that does not strain your eyes, and good performance.
