WhatsApp will let you disable fast video sending in the app. An option was found in the settings menu of the Beta version of Messenger that disables the feature in the interface.

According to website WABetaInfoIn the company that originally published the discovery, the “Video Instant Messages” option (“Instant Video Messages” with free translation) is hidden in the “Conversations” section of the app’s settings.

By disabling instant videos, the user disables changing formats in the interface and limits the application itself to sending audio. It can even receive short videos from other people in individual or group conversations.

Although the function does not completely disable instant WhatsApp videos, it is interesting for those who do not plan to use it and are bothered by the presence of a shortcut in the interface. With the function disabled, accidental tapping of the volume icon will not switch between formats.

available for testers

The new option was found in version 2.23.18.21 of WhatsApp Beta for Android and 23.18.1.70 for iOS. The update is distributed to all users enrolled in the application testing program.

There are currently no estimates for the public release of the overall innovation. However, since this is a simple addition, it won’t take long to reach everyone.
