Indonesia has launched a “golden visa” program for investments in the state’s economy. Individual investors need to invest $350,000 in bonds, stocks, or a deposit to obtain a five-year visa, and $700,000 for a ten-year visa.
The Indonesian authorities have launched a program to attract foreign investment. For investment in the state’s economy, a visa can be obtained for a period of 5 or 10 years, according to the Indonesian Migration Service.
Foreigners who invest 350 thousand dollars in bonds, shares of local companies or create a bank deposit for this amount can have a visa for a period of 5 years. A ten-year visa can be obtained with an investment of $700,000.
A five-year visa will also be granted to managers and representatives of corporate investors who set up a company in Indonesia with an investment of USD 25 million – for 5 years, and USD 50 million – for 10 years.
Earlier it became known that Italy had reduced the “golden visa” program for Russians. They could be obtained for two years for investments amounting to 250 thousand euros in the country’s economy. The program was canceled due to the recommendations of the European Union.
