Xiaomi is not slowing down with its deployment HyperOS. Thanks to the latest additions, there are already more than 50 smartphones that can upgrade to this new operating system, which runs Android 14 and has important advantages over MIUI such as artificial intelligence features, customization options and much more. In particular, two of the most famous mobile phones, including Xiaomi 12, are now receiving the new version.
As various Xiaomi forums have shown, Global HyperOS ROM for Xiaomi 12, Announced in March 2022, it is now available for download. We repeat that it includes Android 14, as well as all the improvements that Xiaomi has included in its new operating system.
However, this is not the only device that can now be upgraded to HyperOS. The Poco X4 GT has also received a new version via an official – and global – ROM, which you can download right now and install on your smartphone, and which also contains an update to Android 14.
How to install HyperOS on Xiaomi 12 and Poco X4 GT
Xiaomi is likely to release the HyperOS update for the Xiaomi 12 and Poco X4 GT over-the-air (OTA) in the coming days. You can check if it is available by going to Settings > About phone > Software update.and click the “Check for updates” button. Once it is available, you will just need to follow the steps that appear on the screen.
If you prefer, you can also download the HyperOS update locally. To do this, click on the following links corresponding to your smartphone model and save the file to your device.
- Xiaomi 12.
- Little X4 GT.
Then go to Settings > About phone > go to MIUI version. and click on it. Then click on the three dots that appear at the top of the screen and click “Select update package” and click on the previously saved package. Finally, follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
