Offspring natives Natalia Korchagina, Sergey Taskin and Yandex’s Alexander Shkipin launched the natural cosmetics brand Somelove. The launch of RB.RU was announced by a Somelove representative.
The total investment of entrepreneurs amounted to 120 million rubles. According to the Kontur.Fokus system, Korchagina and Taskin each own 40% of Organikalibra LLC, and Shkipina owns 20%.
The brand launched its own production, located in St. Petersburg. The company currently employs 45 people.
Before the launch, the team consulted with a specialist in GMP, standards for the organization of production and quality control established by the WHO. The formulas are reported to be all-natural, and the ingredients for them are sourced from around the world: in Japan, Korea, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Mexico, Singapore, India, and Morocco.
According to the brand, Somelove products restore the skin’s protective barrier and microbiome and intensely hydrate it. The line includes adult care products, there is also a 0+ line of children’s cosmetics, which is designed for body and hair care for newborns and children up to three years of age.
Now Somelove is represented in various offline outlets and online services. RB.RU found branded products for sale at Ozon and in the Golden Apple online store. The cost of production on average starts from 1.2 thousand rubles.
The brand plans for the next year to form the necessary level of working capital and expand the product line.
