The social network VK has added a children’s mode to the RuStore mobile application store. This mode is designed to keep kids safe in the online world and allows parents to control access to content and purchases.
Kids Mode allows parents to filter content based on their child’s age. In addition, suggestions for educational and entertainment applications suitable for children are also presented. This way, kids will only see content that’s appropriate for their age and interests.
Parents can choose from three age profiles for their child: preschool, school or youth. In addition, the kid mode offers a selection of special apps and games that RuStore editors recommend based on the child’s age. It should be noted that the child cannot turn off the child mode without entering the pin code set by the parent.
This step of the VK social network will help parents to ensure safety and appropriate content for their children when using mobile applications and games.
