The next major Android 15 update will show the battery level of paired devices in a more elegant and intuitive way. The interface revision was found in the Android 15 QPR2 Beta 1 settings menu.
Each paired device (e.g. both sides of TWS earphones, charging case and smart watch) will show the battery level in a circle around the photo. The more batteries there are, the more complete the circle.
Full percentage of battery charge remains available under each paired peripheral on the same page. Therefore, the addition to the interface is purely aesthetic, but it helps to interpret the charge level more easily.
THE “Connected Devices” section is available in the Android settings menu. This section has been available since Android 8 (Oreo), but the appearance of the page may vary depending on the manufacturer.
Since it’s a purely incremental addition, it’s unlikely to be removed from the update. However, this is an interface change. may appear differently on alternative Android distributions.
It hasn’t been long since Android 15 received its first incremental update, but the development time for Android 16 will be shorter than previous versions. Therefore, the second major update is expected to arrive very quickly.
