The first blockchain and cryptocurrency department in Russia will open at Synergy University. It will also teach students how to program, develop web services, and process big data.
The first blockchain and cryptocurrency faculty will open in Russia. This was reported by the press service of Synergy University.
Students will be taught the basics of blockchain technology, methods of its application, security in the field of cryptography and smart contract programming. Students will also be taught about cryptocurrencies as a discipline, its impact on the economy, and trained to conduct research on the cryptocurrency market.
In addition to blockchain and cryptocurrency, students will be taught programming, big data processing, and working with artificial intelligence systems.
“Students will be able to do internships at Loginom, Pix Robotics, 1C, GreenData, Red Software, Astra Linux, Alt Linux and other companies,” Synergy reported.
There are separate educational disciplines on blockchain and cryptocurrency at Moscow State University, Higher School of Economics, NUST MISIS, MIPT, and St. Petersburg State Economic University.
