The peak speed of MTS local Internet on MCD-4 is limited to 130 Mbit/s

MTS ensures the quality of communication along the Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-4).

The average external Internet speed on the new Wi-Fi route is 30 Mbit/s, the peak limit is 130 Mbit/s.

The operator modernized the mobile network and launched new base stations before launching traffic along the Kaluga-Nizhny Novgorod diameter, which stretches 86 kilometers from Aprelevka west to Zheleznodorozhny.

Along new highways, over the past 1.5 years, MTS has created more than 150 basic LTE solutions and transferred some equipment from the 3G standard to 4G. Thanks to this, network capacity increased by 21%, and average Internet speed increased to 30 Mbit/s.

MTS also developed a fixed-line network. By the launch of MCD-4, the number of households connected to high-speed Internet companies within the radius of populated areas increased by 5% to 600 thousand.

The new route connected more than 20 districts of the capital and several cities in the Moscow region. The fourth diameter improved transport accessibility for 700 thousand residents of the Moscow region, reducing travel time between the Aprelevka and Zheleznodorozhny terminal stations to 135 minutes.
