Food technology company Hello Foody, which is developing a network of automated kiosks and micro markets, joined the World of Vending group in early August. The latter bought 100% of the project from its founder Marina Peshneva-Podolskaya. Peshneva-Podolskaya herself informed RB.RU about the agreement.

The amount and terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Hello Foody brand will be retained after its incorporation into the World of Vending.

Since 2015, Hello Foody has been developing a network of automated kiosks and micro markets where you can buy prepared foods: soups, main dishes, sandwiches, desserts and fresh washed fruit. It should be noted that the project created a format for an automated gastronomic cafe with fresh and healthy food on the Russian market. Previously, vending machines only sold snacks and soft drinks.

“For 8 years we have been actively growing, doubling both income and the number of points of sale annually. In 2019 they began to develop the micromarket format in parallel to the automated kiosks. The pandemic slowed growth, but in 2021 business began to grow again. In 2022, we realized that to expand the network efficiently, we need to think about joining a large and well-known brand,” said Peshneva-Podolskaya.

The businessman did not disclose Hello Foody’s revenue and profit figures.

“Mir Vending” is the second largest vending operator in Russia, which has a network of more than 2,000 machines located from Kaliningrad to South Sakhalin. Since 2022, the company has been developing its own network of micromarkets.

According to the head of the World of Vending group of companies, Irakli Davitashvili, the merger will allow World of Vending to explore new directions, strengthen the team and expand the current network of partners.

The income of Mir Vending LLC, according to the Kontur.Focus system, in 2022 amounted to 1.45 billion rubles against 1 billion rubles in 2021, net profit: 44 million rubles against 41.3 million rubles.
