The case of poisoning more than 200 people with Greenbox “healthy” food was registered in a court in St. Petersburg. JSC Green Box is suspected of violating sanitary and epidemiological standards: 129 people were hospitalized, and specialists found salmonella bacteria in several dozen laboratory tests.
The Primorsky Court of St. Petersburg registered a case of mass food poisoning by the Greenbox company. This was reported by the joint press service of the St. Petersburg courts.
JSC Green Box is suspected of violating sanitary and epidemiological standards, such as poor cleaning of the premises, the presence of insects and allowing employees to work without medical books.
On September 9, the Fontanka publication reported on the mass poisoning of Greenbox “healthy” foods, which were delivered to customers through the Samokat service. There are 248 known cases of poisoning, of which 129 people required hospital treatment.
According to the results of laboratory tests, Salmonella bacteria was found in 28 cases.
Green Box JSC told TASS that they are conducting an internal investigation into the incident and will take action based on its results.
