Microsoft has updated the application Scissors in the beta version of Windows 11, recognition and copying of text from screenshots has been added.

The function works with screenshots taken on Windows, Android and iOS.

In addition, the Phone Link app now shows when a user takes a screenshot on Android. When you click on an alert, the photo is automatically sent from Android to Windows and will open in Scissors.

This feature will probably appear in the stable build of Windows 11 in a few months. Also next week, Microsoft will hold a presentation on artificial intelligence, where it may talk more about text recognition. [The Verge]
