There have been rumors for a long time that the maximum iPhone charging power when connected to USB-C will increase to 35 W.

However, these rumors were not confirmed. According to Japanese blog MacOtakara, the iPhone 15 Pro has the same charging power as the iPhone 14 Pro. That is, we are talking about 27 watts.

Apple says all iPhone 15 models can charge up to 50% in about 30 minutes using a 20W or higher power adapter.

Last year, ChargerLAB determined that Apple’s 30W USB-C Power Adapter was the company’s cheapest charger to deliver 27W of power. Apparently, this year everything remains unchanged.
