Amazon announced the new Echo Show 8 today (20). The Smart Speaker comes with a redesigned design that features a camera that focuses on the screen and visual computing resources that reduce the amount of information the device displays.
Echo Show 8 is currently available for pre-order on the Amazon website in the United States, with prices starting from $149 (about R$720 in direct conversion). There is no expected arrival date in Brazil yet.
The new smart speaker comes with Alexa integration and can understand how far away the user is and adjust the content displayed on the screen by increasing or decreasing the letters.
Another standout feature is that Echo Show 8 can make adjustments to the sound according to the environment. Amazon also revealed an upgrade to the processor that makes the device faster.
Although pre-sales have started, Amazon will only start shipping orders from October.
