Yandex has started accepting applications for the Yandex Cup programming championship. For the first time in three years, the final will be held offline, in Kazakhstan. The prize fund will be 7.8 million rubles and the winner will receive 500 thousand rubles.
Registrations have opened for the Yandex Cup programming championship. You can submit it on the project website until October 29.
This year the championship will be held in six areas: front-end, back-end, mobile development, analytics, algorithms and machine learning.
The qualifiers (October 23 to 29) and the semifinals (November 4) will be held online. The final will take place in early December and will have 120 participants. For the first time in three years, the final will be held offline, in Kazakhstan.
The championship prize fund will amount to 7.8 million rubles. For the first place you will receive 500 thousand rubles, for the second – 250 thousand, for the third – 200 thousand.
Yandex has been organizing programming championships since 2011.
