Red Dead Redemption 2 came with the ultra preset. The average frame rate was 42 fps (RX 590) and 33 fps (GTX 1060), maximum – 110 and 36 fps, minimum – 38 and 31 fps, respectively.
Cyberpunk 2077 was running at high graphics settings. The average FPS in it was 53 fps (RX 590) and 43 fps (GTX 1060), the maximum was 65 fps and 56 fps, respectively, the minimum was 45 and 34 fps.
GTA 5 tested with High graphics. On average, its performance was at 135 fps and 156 fps (RX 590 and GTX 1060, respectively), maximum – 166 fps and 185 fps, minimum – 108 fps and 125 fps.
Rainbow Six Siege launched with a high preset. The average frame rate in this case was 213 fps (RX 590) and 180 fps (GTX 1060), maximum FPS – 265 and 216 fps, respectively, minimum – 169 and 141 fps, respectively.
The Witcher 3 was tested at ultra graphics settings. Average performance was 89 fps with the RX 590 8 GB and 50 fps with the GTX 1060 6 GB. The maximum FPS was 106 fps and 56 fps respectively, and the minimum was 58 fps and 44 fps respectively.
Apex Legends was released with a high preset. The average frame rate in the game was 87 fps (RX 590) and 105 fps (GTX 1060), maximum – 350 fps and 121 fps, minimum – 0 fps and 79 fps, respectively.
Battlefield 5 was running on high settings. The average FPS in it was 77 fps (RX 590) and 30 fps (GTX 1060), the maximum frame rate was 94 fps and 45 fps, respectively, and the minimum was 68 fps and 23 fps, respectively.
In general, RX 590 showed better average performance in games. The difference between video cards was 16% (99 fps for RX 590 and 85 fps for GTX 1060), but for some projects it is better to take GTX 1060 (GTA 5, Apex Legends ).
