The iPhone 15 Pro has a new button that replaces the silent mode lever. With its help or through Control Center, you can now quickly turn off all sounds on your iPhone.

If you have turned on silent mode, a corresponding icon in the form of a crossed out bell will appear in the status bar. Not everyone likes it because it takes up space.

Apple previewed this moment and added a special toggle switch that can close the annoying icon. You can find it in the menu Settings -> Sounds, haptic signals -> Displayed in the status bar.

Just disable it and that’s it, now you don’t have this icon, the status bar has become a little “cleaner”.
