Recently, an AI system detected a wildfire in the Cleveland National Forest in San Diego County without firefighters even knowing. This success led to the technology being rolled out to all 21 Cal Fire dispatch centers in the state.

Since July, AI has detected 40% of fires before a 911 call is received. Cal Fire sees the technology as a revolutionary solution that improves the ability to quickly respond to wildfires.
