American computer game developer Valve has officially released the shooter Counter-Strike 2. The previous part of the series, CS: GO, was released ten years ago.

The Valve studio has officially launched the game Counter-Strike 2

The company clarified that those who played the previous part will be able to save their progress in the new project. Valve announced the game in March. Speaking of the product launch, the studio announced some changes that await players. For example, a new smoke effect that now interacts with other elements of the game. Valve also showed a video dedicated to the updated game.

Valve was founded in 1996 by Gabe Newell and Michael Harrington in the United States. During its existence, the studio presented games such as Half-Life, Portal, Dota-2. The company also provides support for the Steam online gaming service.
