Avito has launched an advertising promotion service for professional users. An artificial intelligence (AI)-based algorithm will predict demand based on historical data on the effectiveness of promoting similar offers, the site said in a statement.
When selecting a quote, users will see the variety of additional views from the beginning. In this way the seller will be able to determine a promotion strategy with a clear result.
It is observed that some sellers lack organic growth in views due to high competition, short sales times or low popularity of the product or service.
Previously, users were offered to increase the number of views ×2, ×5, ×10 times. However, as Avito notes, the effectiveness was influenced by many factors (the level of competition in the region and category, the time of publication, the quality of the ad itself) and it was impossible to know the result in advance.
In June, Avito Messenger introduced a quick response option: sellers can create message templates and send them with one click to typical user requests.
