Apple this Monday (6) new MacBook Air announced, is also launching the M2 chip announced today. According to the company, the notebook is now thinner and lighter (1.13 cm and 1.24 kg respectively), promising new experiences and powerful. HE available in four different colors and promises up to 18 hours of battery life (video playback). The recommended price for the base model is US$1,199, or R$13,299 in Brazil.
New MacBook Air with M2 it will be available next month in silver, space gray, star and midnight colors. It also has a MagSafe charging port and now Compatible with faster chargers up to 67W. Apple assures that this provides 50% of the computer’s charge in just 30 minutes.
The display of the new 13.6-inch MacBook Air (2560 x 1664p) has also undergone changes and now looks more like that of the next-generation MacBook Pro with Liquid Retina Display (IPS/LED). that means it there is a notch/cutout in the upper area, there is also a new Full HD resolution webcam.
The screen itself is 25% brighter and can produce 1 billion colors. It also has 500 nit brightness, P3 color tone support and True Tone technology. At the presentation, Apple showed that it would be possible to “hide” the notch, depending on the user’s taste.
More performance and new looks

Apple has also brought improvements to the Magic Keyboard, which brings the new Touch ID introduced on the latest MacBook Pro models. The computer also has two USB-C (Thunderbolt) ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack (P2).
Another innovation offered by the company is a charger with two 67 W USB-C ports, but 30 W or 35 W chargers are sent depending on the model selected in the notebook box. The recommended price of the most powerful charger in the official store of the company is R$559.
During the advertisement, Apple also confirmed that the 13″ MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, which is the theoretically discontinued model, will bring the new M2 chip.. However, the computer gains more performance and has autonomy of use up to 20 hours. Prices for this model are BRL 14,499 (with 8 core GPU) and BRL 16,499 (with 10 core GPU).
