A new game, created according to the most secret historical documents, has gone viral in Russia – “Rus vs. Lizards.”
Joke or not, the game has already entered the TOP 10 on Steam and took 8th place in the rating. Moreover, she has almost 6 thousand reviews, and of them 97% found!
This is almost the most Slavic game in existence. You won’t see a greater epic anywhere else.
Let’s not pull the cat with the Slavic cord and go straight to the main thing. Is it worth playing?
Bogatyrs against Herodov. How it was
According to the developers of the Bratans studio, when creating the game, all the most hidden historical documents were used, which told about the travels of the glorious Russian heroes during the time of Hyperborea. All of Rus’ comes from it, these are our forgotten roots.
Everything is historically accurate, and this should not be forgotten. Enemy adversaries attacked Russian soil, and the ultimate heroes stood up to defend their homeland.
From the documents we also learned not only about our own battles, but also about the most secret techniques that the developers managed to restore.
Summon the heroic xilshke
The game consists of five arenas filled with evil lizards who are trying to capture the Russian countrywoman.
They are opposed by Russian warriors, who, as you know, have incredible strength and ingenuity. For this reason, the authors made the control as simple as it was easy to call rich ryams.
We have three characters available to us:
• Radislav: this is a fighter with a shield
• Drcheslav: fighter with berdysh
• Vseslav: dual blade fighter
They all handle the same way. There is a light but fast attack, a more powerful but slow attack, as well as a number of special moves. Oh yes, there are also riffles. Where would we be without them in 2023? Our fellows don’t know how to jump, and they don’t need to.
Two abilities are available as standard: a powerful forward attack and an attack against a group of enemies. To defeat the enemies, we are also provided with additional “ults” scattered around the map. They endow the heroes with other powers. For example, “The Power of Perun”, which makes it possible to strike with lightning.

Other superpowers are also available: “Slavic fastenings with eggs“, “Goyda” and “Slavic lumbago of the chest”.
Among the maps, however, are historical battle locations. We are talking about Baikalsk, Tyva and several others.
Only one of them will have a big boss. And only on it we fight not with lizards, but with aliens from the planet “Ass”. And here you have to strain a little more than usual.
The game itself is filled with humor in the style of Slavic punk and is completed in literally half an hour.
Now let’s get serious. What’s wrong with the game?

Of course, everything is bad. Here, the only things I can personally note are the good electronic music and soundtracks during loading.
The controls are clumsy and not very responsive, the graphics are normal for an inexpensive indie project, the voice acting is simple terrible. As for the latter, she did this clearly using voice synthesis. There is no liveliness in the speech, the accents in some words are written incorrectly, and many other flaws.
The game itself does not pretend to be anything serious. This is a demo trolling game in which everything is done on the knee, and this is its feature.
The developers clearly did a poor job with the Unity engine. Given democratic system requirements, the project manages to brake on ultra settings even on modern hardware. Although it requires a minimum of a GTX 970, a maximum of an RTX 2060.
So bad it’s good
This is how you can evaluate “Russians vs. Lizards.”
This is not a contender for this year, she has no entries. This is just a fun indie game that you can spend time with and not regret it.
Moreover, “Rus vs. Lizards” costs only 37 rubles on Steam.
A new product is something from which you don’t expect deep elaboration. She did it purely for the sake of ruffles and raised the general mood. And even her crookedness plays to her advantage.
