Wear OS device users can now access Audible’s extensive audiobook library directly from their wrist, without needing to carry a smartphone. The app offers features like offline downloading, adjustable playback speed, and easy access to your audiobook library.
Audible’s move to Wear OS “gives users more flexibility to listen to their favorite books while on the go, walking, running errands, or just taking a break from their phones.”
It was previously known that Russian schoolchildren would not be able to receive electronic versions of textbooks. The head of the Educational Foundation considered the idea of an electronic school library harmful.
