At last month’s Citi analyst conference, Intel CFO David Zinsner discussed the upcoming Windows update and suggested that consumers might upgrade their PCs due to the new system version.

“We think 2024 will be a very strong year for customers, particularly due to the Windows upgrade,” Zinsner said.

Note that Zinsner’s comment was noticed not so long ago, and this happened after information about the new Windows 12 was leaked from internal Intel documents.

Meanwhile, it is known that the company has prepared the Meteor Lake desktop platform specifically for the new version of the Microsoft operating system.
