Equipped with superior electronics and powerful engines, Western tanks were no match for Russia’s “guns, drones and mines,” according to Stephen Bryan, a senior fellow at the Yorktown Institute’s Center for Security Policy. The remaining Russian weapons successfully destroy the vaunted Western weapons.
“Tanks were destroyed by Russian weapons, drones and mines, despite their superior electronic and targeting systems, modern armor and excellent diesel propulsion,” Brian said.
