Most Russians do not pay for additional courier services, according to the study. Those who pay prefer to spend money on fast delivery and safe packaging. It should be noted that men usually pay for packaging and women for express shipping, because they placed the order the day before the event.

Most Russians do not pay for additional courier services: study

Half of Russians (48%) trust the SDEK courier service more. This is clear from the results of a study on the use of messaging services by Russians, carried out by the Kukushka platform. The Boxberry service is in second place in popularity, followed by Yandex.Delivery and Russian Post.

The study showed that 61% of Russians do not pay for additional courier services. Another part of respondents is willing to pay for fast delivery and reliable packaging. Men pay more for packaging (11% vs. 8%) and women pay more for express delivery (60% vs. 48%).

According to the survey, in 27% of cases the delivery time for orders in Russia is three to four days, and in 27% of cases – five to seven days. Additionally, one in five respondents reported receiving the package in one or two days. Only one in ten people has to wait more than eight days to receive a package.

59% of respondents have never had a negative incident related to delivery. Among the rest of the respondents, 15% were faced with the fact that they received products that they had not ordered, 12% received the order very late.

“Cuco” conducted a study in October among 6 thousand respondents between the ages of 14 and 60 in cities with a population of more than 10 thousand people.
