One Twitter user shared his joy: “ChatGPT-4V transcribes redacted government document on UFO sightings published by NASA.” This new capability has increased interest in uncovering hidden truths in classified documents.

AI’s ability to fill in gaps in text is obvious because it is pretty good at predicting parts of a document that have been censored. Although it is difficult to test the accuracy of these predictions, they demonstrate the potential of GPT-4V.

In addition to decrypting UFO documents, users have also found various practical applications for this technology. This includes deciphering doctors’ complex handwriting, analyzing medical images such as x-rays, customized interior design recommendations, nutritional information, and even technical analysis of stocks and cryptocurrencies based on screenshots.
