Telecom operators will develop a unified service for “dialing” incoming calls from companies, writes RBC. The subscriber will be able to immediately know even the purpose of the call.
VimpelCom (operating under the Beeline brand) launched the Label service to “label” incoming messages. A company that purchases such a service from an operator will be able to enter data (company or brand name, purpose of the call, etc.) that should appear on the screen when making a call.
This way, subscribers will be able to know immediately if a courier or a car dealer is calling them. In this case, you will not need to install any additional applications or change settings.
The business that purchases the service will pay for each act of initiating a call, while the VimpelCom representative did not comment on commercial details. The operator hopes to transmit a “tag” with information during an incoming call not only to its subscribers, but also to clients of other operators.
“We are working together with market colleagues to create a unified b2b solution for ‘tagging’ calls,” he said at Vimpeklom. The publication’s source at another major telecom operator confirmed this discussion.
MTS now has an “Authorized Call” service, which allows companies to add information about themselves to the calling card. Megafon will allow those subscribers who use the Eva virtual assistant to receive information about an incoming call.
