In Chelyabinsk they successfully tested the first domestic garbage truck that works with electric traction. This was reported by the press service of the South Ural State University, whose specialists developed the device.
The garbage truck is equipped with electric and gasoline motors. The car will run outside the city on gasoline and inside the city on electric power. The use of an electric motor will ensure the silence and environmental friendliness of the equipment, SUSU noted.
