This chip is part of the 14th generation Intel processors and contains 10 cores (6 P cores and 4 E cores) with 16 threads. The main frequency is 2.5 GHz and the maximum turbo frequency reaches 4.7 GHz. The processor has 20 MB L3 cache and 9.5 MB L2 cache.
In Geekbench tests, the Intel Core i5-14400 processor showed results of 2464 points in single-threaded mode and 13,373 points in multi-threaded mode.
This is 8% and 29% better respectively compared to the previous generation Core i5-13400. Despite the fact that the new processor is just an improved version of the previous processor with a slight increase in frequency, such a significant performance increase may be due to better cooling and optimized BIOS.
