The updates include improvements to AirDrop that allow you to continue transferring data over the Internet when you’re out of range of another device, as well as the ability to use cellular data for data transfers. Apple Music now offers featured songs, albums, and playlists, new filtering options, and a library of artwork to personalize playlists.
In standby mode, the user can now choose to automatically turn off the screen after 20 seconds or not to turn it off at all (on Always On devices).
Apple Wallet introduces Linked Cards for UK users, which show current account balance and transaction history, and the Photo Shuffle feature on the lock screen now lets you select a specific album.
The update also includes various bug fixes and performance optimizations.
