The cyber attack took place five weeks ago. The ICC believes that the attempt to hack the information infrastructure was necessary by unknown hackers in order to “undermine the authority of the court”.
“Dutch law enforcement authorities are currently conducting a criminal investigation,” the ICC press service said in a statement.
