This finding may surprise many, considering CarPlay’s advanced features such as navigation, making calls, sending and receiving messages, and listening to music through various streaming services. But the simplicity of radios seems to remain the preferred option for most users.

The study collected data from a significant number of CarPlay users. It showed that 84% of time spent on CarPlay was spent listening to AM/FM radio. This is a clear indication that despite the digital transformation in the automotive industry, traditional radio still has a special place in the hearts of drivers.
