Bélaya Dacha opened a complex for growing salads and processing vegetable products in the Krasnodar region, the press service of the group of companies reported. Bélaya Dacha is the main supplier of vegetables to the Vkusno fast food restaurant chain, period.

In the village of Raevskaya, in the urban district of Novorossiysk, arugula, spinach, iceberg, romaine, frisse and radiccio lettuces will be grown. The plant will employ 195 people, its planned capacity is 5 thousand tons of salads per year.

A vegetable processing plant was opened in the village of Bryukhovetskaya. Its production capacity is 400 tons of finished products per month, its staff is 140 people. The plant’s suite of products will include washed salads, cut vegetables and fruit and vegetable snacks, and fermented cabbage.

In early October, “Vkusno – period” raised hamburger prices after increasing the VAT rate on fast food from 10% to 20%.
