Yandex will begin deleting accounts of inactive users. The company considers that these are profiles with which there has been no activity for more than 2.5 years. The accounts will be permanently deleted.
Yandex will soon begin deleting inactive accounts, the company announced. Profiles with no activity for more than 2.5 years will be deleted from the system without the possibility of recovery.
Before deleting accounts, Yandex will send several notifications, at least a month before deletion.
If the user does not log in to one of the Yandex services, the profile will be deleted. Also, to confirm the use of your account, it will be enough to use one of the services, for example, sending a letter by mail.
Google will also begin deleting inactive accounts in December 2023. Almost all account content will be deleted: photo backups, emails, Workspace files, and calendar events.
